Kevin Strootman scheurt kruisband af en mist WK voetbal

Kevin Strootman zal niet actief zijn op het WK voetbal deze zomer in Brazilie. Gisteren scheurde hij tijdens de wedstrijd Napoli – Roma zijn kruisband af. Dit is maandag uit een MRI-scan gebleken.

Hij verliet huilend het veld in San Paolo. Waarvoor gevreesd werd is maandag bewaarheid: hij mist het WK.
