Liverpool manager Arne Slot plans to overhaul his squad this summer. The English outlet “The Athletic” broke the news today. As many as nine players are expected to leave “The Reds.”

Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah have already announced that they will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. But there is much more to come in terms of outgoing transfers, according to The Telegraph.

Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott both have contracts at Anfield running through the summer of 2027 and are on the radar of several clubs. The midfielders are not regular starters at Anfield and therefore seem open to a new challenge. Alexis MacAllister may also be leaving Liverpool. The Argentine is a regular starter for Arne Slot’s team, but the club wants to use the proceeds from his sale (market value 80 million) to rebuild the squad.

Finally, The Telegraph also raises serious doubts about the future of defenders Joe Gomez, Rhys Williams, and Calvin Ramsay, as well as that of forward Federico Chiesa. The Italian joined the club from Juventus in 2024, but has been unable to break into the starting lineup under Slot.
